What is Voices for Transformation Initiative (VotInitiative)?
VotInitiative is a community-led non-profit organization based in Cameroon, dedicated to empowering adolescent girls, women, and young people. We provide them with the skills, health education, and support needed to lead dignified lives and reach their full potential. Our motto is to help them become Beautiful, Empowered, and Thriving.
Who do you serve?
Our primary focus is on adolescent girls and young women in the Northwest Region of Cameroon and surrounding communities. We believe in a holistic approach, which includes engaging young men and community leaders to create a supportive environment for gender equality and lasting change.
Where is VotInitiative located?
Our operations are based in Bambili, Northwest Region, Cameroon. We work directly within local communities to ensure our programs are accessible, culturally relevant, and impactful.
How is my donation used?
We are deeply committed to financial transparency. A vast majority of all public donations (85-90%) go directly to our program services. This funds vital resources like:
Workshop materials for our health and skills training.
Menstrual health and dignity kits for girls.
Educational supplies for our literacy programs.
Stipends for our local community facilitators.
Our administrative costs are kept to a minimum to maximize our impact on the ground
Can I donate items instead of money (in-kind donations)?
We occasionally accept in-kind donations of new items, such as school supplies, laptops for our digital literacy program, or new sanitary products. Due to shipping and logistical challenges, please email us at info@votinitiative.org before sending any items so we can discuss our most current needs.

Do you offer internships?
We periodically offer internship positions for students and young professionals seeking experience in the non-profit sector. How do you ensure your programs are effective and relevant?
