The Board
Edith Zefor holds a master’s degree in geosciences and works as a professional educator and geoscientist. She actively promotes awareness of climate change and has a strong passion for mining and petroleum engineering. As the organization’s board chair, Edith brings her scientific knowledge, leadership in education, and commitment to sustainable development to the table with a strong focus on empowering women, girls, and young people.

Nkengafack Vanessa is the Secretary General of Voices for Transformation Initiative (VotInitiative). She is a dedicated migration social worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies and a Master’s degree in International Social Work with Refugees and Migrants. She brings strong expertise in migration social work, documentation, and administrative management to advance VotInitiative’s mission. In her role, she oversees program documentation and manages administrative processes to support advocacy efforts for young boys and girls in Cameroon. She is deeply committed to supporting the mission of Voices for Transformation Initiative (VotInitiative) in addressing critical gender-based needs, including the prevention of gender-based violence, the promotion of girls’ education, ensuring access to sexual and reproductive health services, and fostering a culture of equity and inclusion. She is enthusiastic about contributing to the creation of a more just and equitable society for youths in Cameroon.

Sakwe Marie serves as the Treasurer of the Board. She holds an MBA in Accounting and has five years of professional experience working as an accountant with a nonprofit organization in Buea. She is deeply passionate about community engagement and is committed to providing support to vulnerable individuals within her community

With entrepreneurial spirit and dedication, I strive to drive impactful growth and inspire positive change in my community and beyond.” A Teacher , dynamic business woman and Master’s holder in Agribusiness Management

Ngeh Nathalie ,communications officer at Voices for Transformation Initiative. Nathalie holds a bachelor’s in journalism and mass communication and a master’s in political science and Comparative Politics. “I am passionate about advocacy, strategic communication, and empowering communities through impactful storytelling and informed dialogue.”
