Menstrual Health Is Dignity, Not a Privilege

Across Cameroon, many women and girls still struggle with period poverty and limited access to safe menstrual products. What should be a normal part of life continues to affect education, health, and confidence. Menstruation is natural. Yet for many girls, it becomes a barrier to school attendance, participation, and well-being. Some miss classes. Others rely on unsafe alternatives. Many face menstrual stigma that keeps them silent. This is not just a health issue. It is about gender equality, dignity, and human rights.

At Voices for Transformation Initiative, we are working to advance menstrual health awareness in Cameroon through community education, advocacy, and open dialogue. We believe every girl and woman deserves access to affordable sanitary products, accurate information, and supportive environments. Our campaign promotes three key messages. Menstrual health matters. #KeepGirlsInSchool during their periods. #EndMenstrualStigma.

Through community engagement and digital advocacy, we are creating safe spaces for conversations and influencing change at both local and national levels.

Sustainable change requires more than awareness. It calls for policy action, community support, and collective responsibility.

Join us in advancing menstrual health and dignity for all. Be part of a movement that ensures no girl is left behind because of her period.
